On February 1, 2021, FERC Chairman Richard Glick announced the appointments of Pamela Quinlan as Acting Chief of Staff and Matt Christiansen as General Counsel.
Quinlan, previously a Technical Advisor to Chairman Glick, has over 15 years of experience in energy market regulation and policy while Christiansen, previously a Legal Advisor to the Chairman, clerked for the United States Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit (the “D.C. Circuit”) and the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York before joining FERC’s Office of General Counsel.
In a statement released by FERC, Chairman Glick spoke highly of the appointees, noting that “[t]hey both will play critical roles in advancing FERC’s essential mission as the nation transitions to the clean energy future.”
David Morenoff, who has been serving as Acting General Counsel is returning to his position as Deputy General Counsel.
